Were You Ripped Off By An Airing Knockoff?

You may have seen an Airing micro-CPAP advertised on Facebook or LinkedIn or Instagram and thought, great it’s finally out! You buy it and it shows up, but it’s a shell of a product with no technology inside. Sadly, you’ve bought an illegal knockoff.

How do we know? Well, the Airing micro-CPAP product is NOT available anywhere! We should know. We are Airing.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but we see it differently. In fact, you have no idea how frustrating it is for us at Airing to hear of these experiences. We invest years of development work and money into Airing only to have these illegal Chinese companies pretend to be Airing selling useless scraps of plastic. It is important that you understand what is going on and how you can help.

we are trying to squash the knockoffs.

We have done our best through social media posts and comments to let everyone know that we are still in development (meaning the Airing micro-CPAP is NOT being manufactured and sold), but it is impossible to reach everyone in this way. We’ve also included notices on our website (www.theairing.com) and on our Facebook page. But none of this stops illegal knockoffs from popping up.

These companies selling the knockoff devices are nefariously genius. They have stolen our name, videos, copy and the basic “look and feel” of our design. We have sent legal letters to Amazon, Ebay and a host of other e-commerce websites, demanding that they remove these knockoffs from their platforms. If they do respond (generally they do not) the removed product just pops back up again under a different company name. It’s like playing “whack a mole”.

As most can imagine, when a buyer of these knockoffs sees our stolen video with our inventor Stephen Marsh in it, they believe wrongly that it is Airing, or Stephen, who has ripped them off and then post their angry feelings on social media. Nobody, especially potential investors we need right now, wants to read about how Airing is ripping everyone off.

How you Can help.

We are obviously not blaming anyone for falling for these knockoffs. Again, they certainly look legit. We would simply invite you to help us educate those who have similar experiences, and point them to the real Airing, at www.theairing.com.

Also, when you see any “Airing” product for sale know that it is not the real Airing. If it’s a social media ad selling fake Airings, feel free to post in the comments below that it’s a scam and drop our website in the comment - www.theairing.com. If enough of you do this, these pirates may decide to find other less educated markets to exploit.

Please know Airing (the real one) has not stopped working to help patients with sleep apnea and we will never stop working towards this goal. We hope you will continue to believe in us.

Please visit our campaign page and you will learn how we can start helping people who suffer from sleep apnea, right away, by taking advantage of the technologies we have already developed for the micro-CPAP in the form of our SmartMask product. Hopefully, this has cleared things up for you some.
